Mrs Karen Hargreaves
Mr Colin Hargreaves
Colin, who is 48 years old, has been with us as a coach since 2002, but has been an associate of the club for many years as Vicki’s dad. He passed his Assistant Club Coach award in Gereral Gymnastics in April 2002, closely followed by his disabilities Add-On Module in July that year. Colin is a former bus driver and now, as well as coaching, drives the minibus from school to gym on Mondays. Collins hobbies include dominoes, canal boats and he is currently a standby foster father for greyhounds and lurchers in need.
MISS KATE SHELLEY
Kate is 20yrs old, and also lives in Widnes. She is studying at Hope university doing a BA Hons(QTS) in primary education and specialising in special needs, and is in her second year. Kate has been with us since March 2003. In May last year Kate did her BG Assistant Coaching Course and qualified as an Assistant Club Coach in General Gymnastics in Wigan in March this year. Kate is awaiting her disabilities add-on module which we hope will be early 2005. Kate’s ambition is to be a SENCO at a mainstream school, and as for hobbies- at the moment she is just too busy!
Mrs Paula Willis
Paula is married, over 21, and also from Widnes. Paula has recently completed a BSc in Sport and psychology at
Miss Kim Holland
Kym is 20 years old and again from Widnes. Kym joined the club last autumn and gained her Assistant Club Coach qualification in March 2004. Kym is currently working for a mobile phone company but hopes to become a Police Officer before ultimately taking over from Andy in the Artistic Gym! Her hobbies are Dancing, Music Shopping and gym!
Mr Rob Morris
Rob is x3 years old and from Widnes. Rob has supported the club as a parent, for many years now but joined us as a coach during September 2003 and passed his Assistant Club Coach exam in March 2004. Rob has worked at Fords for the last 31 years lists his hobbies as football - a big LFC fan, DIY and now, of course, gym! .
Miss Charli Holland
Charli is 17 years old and is Kym's younger sister. Charli has been with us since last Xmas and is doing a Diploma in Childcare and Education. She passed her Rhythmic Assistant Club Coach in July 2004, and is awaiting a Disabilities ad-on module. Charli hasn’t really got time for hobbies but enjoys walking her dog, a boxer called Taz.
Mrs Elaine Morris
Elaine is 52 years old and has been an asset to the club for many years, being 1st Vice-chair and dealing with our charity status, and now being club co-ordinator and of course, supporting Phil. Elaines coaching career started in March 2003, when she started helping Ruth. She passed her Rhythmic Gymnastics Assistant Club Coach exam in July 2004 and is now awaiting a simillar course for artistic gymnastics. Elaine is also one of our clubs appointed and spacifically trained Welfare Officers.
Elaine works at Upton Pre-school where she is the manager, and she is also a governor of Brookfields school. Elaine has a very busy life at home with her family and is equally busy at work and in gym.
Mrs Julie Shard

I am 37 years old and have been club secretary since April 2002. I have 4 children (plus Mike) and my hobbies are all related to the development of the club and its gymnasts. I also, recently (July 2004)passed my Rhythmic Gymnastics Assistant Club Coach exam. Like Elaine, I became aware of the club as a parent, 12 years ago when Mike joined. I am also a Club Welfare Officer and also British Gymnastics Regional Welfare Officer for the NW.
